How to Make Easter Egg Confetti with your Cricut Machine

Easter is just around the corner, and that means it's time to start thinking about all the fun crafts and activities you can do with your kids. One of our favorite Easter crafts is making Easter egg confetti with your Cricut machine! It’s super easy and fun, and you can customize the colors and patterns to suit your style.

This project is super easy and only requires a few basic supplies. You'll need:

  • Cardstock paper in a variety of colors
  • A Cricut machine & cutting mat
  • A weeding tool (optional)

Once you have your supplies, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Find the designs

I’ve created five different Easter egg confetti designs that you can use for this project. You can find them on Cricut Design Space by searching for their specific numbers:

  • #M4732AFF3
  • #M4732AC17
  • #M4732A90B
  • #M4732B525
  • #M4732B68E

Or, you can use my public project in design space, which has all the designs ready and organized for you. Just visit eggconfetti.triyadesigns.com!

Step 2: Cut the designs

Once you have the designs on your canvas, you can arrange them as you like. If you're using the project link, they will already be arranged for you You’ll need to cut each color separately, so make sure you have enough cardstock paper for each design. Load the first color into your machine and press “Go”. Repeat this process for the other four colors.

Step 3: Weed the excess pieces

After cutting all the designs, you’ll need to weed out the excess pieces of paper. This will leave you with the Easter egg confetti shapes. Be careful not to tear or lose any of the small pieces.

Step 4: Enjoy your confetti!

Now you have a bunch of colorful Easter egg confetti that you can use for various purposes. You can sprinkle them on your Easter table, fill some plastic eggs with them for an Easter egg hunt, or put them in bags as cute party favors. Or, you can simply decorate your home with them and enjoy the spring vibes.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and have fun making your own Easter egg confetti with Cricut. If you do, please share your photos with me on social media using the hashtag #TriyaDesigns #Cricut and #EasterEggConfetti. I’d love to see your creations!

Here are some tips for making your Easter egg confetti even more festive:

  • Use different colors of cardstock paper to create a rainbow effect.
  • Cut the eggs out in different sizes for more variety.
  • Add glitter or sequins to the confetti for a little extra sparkle.
  • The possibilities are endless, so let your creativity run wild!

Happy Easter!
