Mastering Transfer Tape for Vinyl Decals

Let's get started:

1. Peel the white liner from the transfer tape. If it's stubborn, fold over a corner to get a grip and start peeling.


2. Place the transfer tape over the decals with the adhesive side facing down. Make sure it completely covers the design.


3. Use a squeegee or gift card to push down firmly on the transfer tape, ensuring it adheres well to the vinyl surface.


4. Turn the decal over and slowly peel the white liner away from the decal, keeping the angle as close to parallel as possible. You want the vinyl to stick to the transfer tape, not the liner.


5. Position the transfer tape with the vinyl onto your chosen surface. Make sure it's level and in the desired location.


6. Slowly and carefully peel the transfer tape away from the vinyl, again maintaining a parallel angle. As you peel, press the vinyl onto the surface with your other hand for smooth application.


Pro tip: If you encounter any air bubbles, gently lift the transfer tape slightly and push them out with your squeegee or finger.
